Please Praise the Lord with us!

"Praise the Lord!  Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting." Psalm 106:1 NASB+

1) for God’s continual leading and direction in our lives,

2) for the kindness of those who have graciously supplied for our needs during our PreField Ministry,

3) for a great year of ministry in 2005 with opportunity to be in 47 new churches to do 33 Sunday Schools, 29 AM services, 32 PM services, 7 Midweek services, 17 days of missions conferences, 7 school presentations, 21 days of VBS, and 64 miscellaneous meetings/ministry opportunities.

4) for the many church meetings that have already been scheduled,

5) that doctors have determined the cause for Sarah's sickness (Lyme's Disease) and are currently treating it properly to prevent another relapse

6) for the encouragement that the ministries of Calvary Baptist Church in Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Calvary Baptist Church in Meadville, PA have been to us,

7) for God’s provision of a ministry schedule full through April '06,

8) for the recommendation from the Belgians Evangelical Mission that we plan to do a 2 year internship in Belgium under the supervision of experienced Belgian church planter, Willy Tops.  We will live near Nieuwerkerken to help the Tops in their church plant and study Flemish in Leuven,

9) for great progress as EBM has completed the process of making a formal partnering relationship agreement with the Belgian Evangelical Mission to enable us to enter Belgium and begin ministry,

10) for many generous contributions by church and individuals,

11) for financial partnership commitments totaling 37.6% ($1,955 of $5,200 / month),

12) that we have received word of few new commitments & increases which should raise our support level to 86% in the first months of 2006!

Please Pray with us!

"Finally, brethren, pray for us that the word of the Lord will spread rapidly and be glorified..." 2 Thessalonians 3:1a NASB+

1) for the scheduled opportunities to minister in churches and share our burden for Belgium and our future ministry in Belgium,

2) for wisdom as we work with our sending churches to develop a ministry plan in based upon the great information that we found during our survey trip to Belgium,

3) for safety as we travel each weekend to present our ministry,

4) for God to quickly provide the prayer and financial support ($5,200 per month) necessary for us to begin ministering for Him in Belgium,

5) for God’s leading to 40 churches by June 2006 that will faithfully partner with us in prayer and that 18 of those churches will be able to financially partner with us so that we can leave for Belgium in August 2006 and begin our language school in October 2006,

6) for provision of support for Dave & Sharon Curtis and Jerry & Cheryll Mann (both couples are fellow missionaries from our home church) who are heading to South Africa to serve with ABWE),

7) for provision of 100% of our $5,200 / month support need by June 2006 so we can move to Belgium by August 2006.

8) for God's provision of finances to cover the costs of hospitalization and treatment of Sarah's viral infection in August (close to $4,000),

9) for churches in the process of deciding IF and HOW MUCH they will support us in their next budget,

10) for effective preparation for upcoming missions conferences,

11) for God's direction to more churches that are passionate about missions in Belgium & Europe AND that have funds available,

12) for good health and good rest as we are constantly traveling, and

13) for Sarah's recovery from recent reoccurrence of what we now know to be Lyme's Disease.  She suffered the same way in August and now has had a reoccurrence in December.  She is taking medication and resting.
